The Chamber offers a wealth of opportunities for you to market your business to more than 2,600 business individuals in our community. These opportunities range from sponsorships and advertising, to complimentary member announcements that are included in the Chamber e-Journal.• Announcements are available to all Chamber members in good standing.• All announcements MUST include: your full name, company name, requested appearance date and announcement with title. • Announcements should be in paragraph form and contain no more than 100 words. Event fliers and .PDFs will NOT be accepted.• Announcements may NOT be revenue-generating, for-profit messages. Low-cost advertising is available through the Chamber e-Journal and website.• Member announcements will appear in the Chamber e-Journal every Tuesday.• Submissions are due by noon on the Thursday before the requested appearance date.• Announcements will appear ONLY ONCE as indicated by the requested appearance date.• Each member is allowed ONE announcement per month.• Members may submit announcements on behalf of other Chamber members, but NOT for non-members.• All announcements will expire with the publication of the next e-Journal on the following Tuesday. They will NOT be archived as part of the e-Journal.• Inline HTML links and e-mail addresses are allowed. Links to documents or click-tracking services (e.g., Constant Contact) will NOT work.• Announcements should be newsworthy, i.e. awards/honors recently received, special recognition, announcing new personnel/promotions, employee certifications, employee retirements, company anniversaries/milestones, company relocation, new products or services, etc.• Please submit all member announcements to communications@gainesvillechamber.com.• For advertising opportunities, please submit requests to theresa@gainesvillechamber.com.Correct: April 1 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce will hold a professional development luncheon at Sweetwater Branch Inn.
